Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) are needed whenever a property is either built, sold or rented.
An EPC contains information about a property’s energy use and typical energy costs. It also makes recommendations about how to reduce energy use and save money.
An EPC gives a property an energy efficiency rating from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient) and is valid for 10 years.
As long as you have already ordered and paid for an EPC then you are permitted to put your property on the market.
We can arrange an EPC for your property from one of our accredited companies at competitive rates, please contact us for further information.
